Technical Edits to RFC 3250:

1. Throughout, references to "RFC 2301" are updated by reference to
draft-ietf-fax-tiff-fx-13.txt.

2. Section 4. MIME Definition, 2nd sentence, change from
"The image/tiff-fx content type may be used when black-and-white image data
is encoded using TIFF-FX Profiles S or F, or a subset."

to now read

"The image/tiff-fx content type MAY be used when black-and-white image data
is encoded using TIFF-FX Profiles S or F, or a subset, however, the
image/tiff content type SHOULD be used.".

Justification:
This change retains the option of using image/tiff-fx in the representation
of Profiles S or F while making it clear that image/tiff is preferred for
maximum interoperability.
A case where it may be advantageous to use image/tiff-fx when referencing
Profiles S or F follows:
Consider a case where a sender has determined that the receiver has
image/tiff-fx
capability, of which Profile C is one of the supported profiles, and the
document contains a mixture of both black-and-white and color pages. In this
case there may be efficiencies realized from declaring one content-type
,image/tiff-fx,
and alternate the coded stream between Profile C and Profile S or F
encodings.

Non-Technical Edits to RFC 3250:
1. Throughout, updated contact information for L. McIntyre.

2. Correct section numbering since two sections, "Internet Fax Working
Group" and
"TIFF-FX Definition" were numbered as 3.
