FW: model drasft

As one of the original authors on this long overdue draft, I am totally for
having new people to push this to completion. I've already communicated this
to Patrick yesterday but seeing some questions from the mailing list makes
me want to share my thoughts with everyone on the list.

I am sorry that I have not been able to keep up with the model draft for the
last 2 years and I am not proud of that. So, I am perfectly ok to have my
name removed so that new people can be added.

P.S. This shows the problem of having IETF work item taking too long to
complete -- people are moving in and out of a project for their company much
faster than the IETF pace. While I would love to continue contributing, the
reality of having a totally different and demanding day job does not allow
that in reality. Not to give myself and others an excuse, but it is a hard
reality that we have to acknowledge and deal with it effectively in IETF. I
am glad Patrick is addressing it now.
