I am confused, at a basic level, by the values of LFBClassID.

-protocol IANA Considerations seems clear enough

  0x00000001       FE Protocol LFB
  0x00000002       FE Object LFB

-model contains
 <LFBClassDef LFBClassID="1">
               <name>FEObject</name>
               <synopsis>Core LFB: FE Object</synopsis>
               <version>1.0</version>
which suggests to me that FEObject is 1

while -protocol contains
 <LFBClassDef LFBClassID="2">
         <name>FEPO</name>
         <id>1</id>
         <synopsis> The FE Protocol Object</synopsis>
         <version>1.0</version>
         <derivedFrom>baseclass</derivedFrom>
which suggests that FEProtocol is 2 unless <id>1</id> which I cannot find in the
schema means it is in fact 1.

This may - or may not - reflect my limited knowledge of XML.
