In case you missed Roman’s kind words at the IETF 125 plenary, I will be stepping away from the IETF, with my last day on Tuesday, March 31. After nearly 18 years, I have made the difficult decision that it is time for a new adventure. This community, and what it stands for, has made a lasting impression on me. I truly value the time I have spent with all of you, and I have often said that attending IETF meetings felt like taking a trip to visit friends every four months. Being surrounded by such smart and kind people for nearly my entire career has been incredibly rewarding. You have shown me what passion, collaboration, and deep knowledge can accomplish. I hope our paths cross again in the future, and I plan to stop by IETF 127 to see as many of you as I can. I will miss traveling with this community and all the amazing moments that came with it.
