To repeat something suggested many times before, keep the six month expiry (or perhaps rename it to "inactive") but provide a simple way for the author to reset the timer for another six months and make it active again. That preserves the signal without the identical redundant drafts. Either that or perhaps when someone sneers at an expired draft, privately think, well, that was dumb, and move on. R's, John
