Pecha Kucha is back! Get ready for IETF126!

Call for participation: Bad Attitude Pecha Kucha @ IETF 126
Time: Wednesday, July 22 at 10 pm Vienna time
Location: Grand Klimt Hall 1

Come share your favorite stories, rants, or calls to action with your
IETF colleagues. If you have a topic about which you are passionate,
you can give a Pecha Kucha.

By now, most of you probably know this, but for those new to the
event: a Pecha Kucha is a lightning-talk presentation format,
originating in Japan, where a speaker presents 20 image-only slides
that are each on the screen for 20 seconds and advance automatically.
With each talk lasting for 6:40, it has the feature of forcing
presentations, good or bad, to be focused and brief.

This is an unofficial event. Topics are encouraged to be IETF-related
and satirical or controversial in some way, although not
mean-spirited. Anyone can participate in this social event.

Format Details:

* Mirja Kühlewind and Jen Linkova will co-host the event in Vienna

* Presentation slots are open to all interested presenters. Slots are
assigned first-come, first-served.

* To reserve a presentation slot, send a name and title to Jen at
[email protected]  AND Mirja at [email protected] and receive
confirmation.

* This time we adhere to the traditional Pecha Kucha format (20
slides, primarily image-only, automatically advancing every 20
seconds). We need 20 static slides as a PDF. Animations are NOT
supported since we will be presenting from our own laptops and we only
support vanilla PDF.

* We MUST receive your final slide deck no later than the start of the
Plenary on Wednesday (i.e., by 5 pm local time). Earlier is better.
You REALLY OUGHT TO get them to us at least a day in advance. Decks
received after the plenary starts are processed on a best-effort basis
and we MAY replace them with random images of kittens, puppies, and
hummingbirds.

* This is an in-person event only: while talks will likely be
recorded, they will not be live-streamed and there will be no remote
participation.
