I think Eric's point isn't that the process will explicitly disclose but
that the need for verifiability is difficult to reconcile with the public
reproduction of the results. (We are not going to do a full blown SNARK).

Furthermore a skip happening plus knowledge of affiliations being public
says why. We can say that's fine, we can say that gender of the minimal set
of people required gets revealed but we do need to consciously make a
choice.
