I would be happy to meet at a university but I would not be thrilled
to sleep in a dormitory with bunk beds and shared washrooms. (Four
years and the occasional college reunion was plenty of that.) If
there's a university with both meeting rooms and adequate hotel space
nearby, that could work, but I'm not aware of any offhand.

The usual comment here is if you think it's a good idea, show up at an
LLC meeting and talk to them about it.
