Speaking of Partitioning

Now that the partitioning requirements are published, are any of the 
authors of the pib and mib willing to revive their work.  Not that i am 
insisting it must come in the form of a mib or a pib, i understand 
there are other options in the wind, such as xml or sming (whatever 
that is).

The main point is someone needs to get back to working on this.
