I subscribed to this list to support the extension of GSMP towards
so-called "Layer 2 control" scenarios between Access Nodes (e.g. DSLAM)
and Broadband Access Nodes (BRAS), as discussed in the context of the
DSL-Forum for quite a while, as captured in the DSLF PD-021 document,
which I co-authored.
