RE: 10GBASE-CX4 and 10GBASE-T

Mike, 

It is still too early to gauge the impact of technologies that are in Study Group phase in the IEEE on our WG work. We need first see these two subjects adopted as standards work by the IEEE and the specifications reaching a relatively stable phase. At this point, if there is interest and there are volunteers to work, we can require to be chartered in order to make the needed additions to the Ethernet MIBs.

Also, let us not forget that we also have IEEE 802.3ah - Ethernet First Mile as a possible work item, even before the copper 10GBE technologies. Are people interested in starting to look at possible MIB work for EFM?
