How does this work for non-terminal labels i.e. when there is a zone cut?
I think DNS server just look at qname (and not qtype) to determine that
they need to do a referral (or perform recursion). Having the interpretation 
of the owner name be type specific provides the opportunity (however 
misguided it might be) to try to delegate the two name/type pairs differently.

As far as I can tell using different profiles for QNAME and RDATA domain
name slots doesn't have this issue.
And in the future there is the option to carefully define a new class
that uses a different profile for QNAME.
