Okay Dave, so it looks like we are agreeing that the MIME type for
instant messages is "message/CPIM", and the MIME type for
notifications is "message/CPIM-PIDF".  I think a "message/CPIM-PIDF"
object should use the same syntax as a "message/CPIM" object, except
that it must contain exactly three headers in any order, a 'From'
header, a 'To' header, and a 'DateTime' header, where the 'From'
header and 'To' header contain presence URIs, and the 'DateTime'
header contains a time stamp.  It must also have a body of MIME type
'application/cpim-pidf+xml'. 

Where should the "message/CPIM-PIDF" profile be defined.  Should it be
in the CPIM document, or the PIDF document?  Could you suggest text
that allows us to define the "message/CPIM-PIDF" profile by only its
differences between it and the "message/CPIM" profile?  Would anyone
else like to take a whack at this?
