Yes. Personally at the time, I favoured a mechanism that also allowed us
to prioritise between the available and supported transports but we came
to the conclusion that this wasn't supported in any natural way by the
DNS. If I recall correctly, the final consensus was that the polling SRV
approach would be perfectly acceptable but could me changed in future if
a better mechanism is ever provided. This seems sensible.
