I dont think so. We decided a long time ago that the scope of CPIM was 
really between systems, and would not address getting clients from one 
protocol to gateway to servers of another protocol. That helped us 
eliminate things like publication from CPIM.

That is true.

I agree its common, but I think there are sufficient differences that 
warrant separate solutions. I'd be happy to elaborate on that - but we 
should take it to the SIMPLE list rather than clutter IMPP.
