Scope:
The Seventh Working Conference on Optical Network Design and Modelling=
,=20
aims at presenting high-quality recent research results in optical=20
network architectures, design, operation, management and planning.=20
In the tradition of the previous conferences (Torino'02, Vienna'01,=20
Athens'00, Paris'99, Rome'98 and Vienna'97) we will bring to Budapest
researchers from academia and industry as well as network operators=20
and manufacturers to discuss and disseminate optical network design=20
and modelling tecniques. Contributions are invited on all topics=20
concerning optical networking, including:
o IP over optical networks
o Optical acccess, metropolitan and transport networks
o Routing and wavelength assignment in WDM networks
o Switched optical networks (ASON, MPLambdaS, ODSI, OIF)
o Multilayer architectures (e.g., ASTN, GMPLS)
o Traffic and wavelength grooming
o Optical Packet/Burst/Flow Switching
o Protection and restoration strategies
o Optical Virtual Private Networks, etc.
