Request to Define New IPP Attribute "printer-more-info-config (uri)"

Hi,

Mopria would like to propose a new IPP attribute "printer-more-info-config (uri)". The new attribute will be used by the Client to display the printer's embedded web configuration page.

"printer-more-info" is already defined in RFC8011 but current implementations for this attribute refer to a URL for a specific IPP configuration. The proposed "printer-more-info-config" will be for the configuration top page for broader, non-specific purpose.

Here is the proposed specification:

printer-more-info-config (uri)
Similar to "printer-more-info", this Printer attribute contains a URI used to obtain more information and provides
the device configuration of this specific Printer. This feature provides Administrator or End User to access printer web page for
device configuration or customization of the specific printer supports to help apply each device unique settings. For example, a
printer with limited user interface on its device panel could utilize this attribute for additional configuration. The device
manufacturer can initially populate this attribute.
