My sincere apologies, I failed to see that there is an Amendment from 2022 to the national standard IS 1064 from 1980, which luckily are freely available online. 

Without further explanation, it records two additional formats: “FS” and “Legal”. Both are 215 mm wide. The former, FS, is 345 mm tall, i.e. the size requested by Canon, whereas the latter, Legal, is the only one to have two different values given for its height: 335 mm and 355 mm. However, it is unclear whether those are alternatives or minimum and maximum.
