Fair enough, and my purpose isn't to be argumentative or reopen decided
questions. I just took a few minutes to peruse some of the references and
do a few web searches, and couldn't find a specific application, so I
figured I'd ask.

Even 9 years in, I'm a relative newcomer to the IETF.
