Hello, an adoption call has been issued on the 6man list for "IPv6 Addresses for Ad Hoc Networks".
This document provides a way forward for IPv6 addressing in ad hoc networks of all varieties but
should be of particular interest for MANETs that operate either autonomously or with only
intermittent connectivity to the Internet. It provides an update to RFC5889 by introducing
a new Multilink Local Address (MLA) type and paves the way for automatic configuration of
Unique Local Addresses (ULAs) and Globally Unique Addresses (GUAs). Please review and
post your responses to the adoption call on the 6man list (see instructions below).
