[manet] Routers with multiple DLEP modems

All,

I am looking for any existing terminology to discuss a situation where a
single DLEP router has established sessions to multiple DLEP modems, each
operating in separate isolated address spaces. Each address space has many
modems and routers which are or can be aware of each other (in a time
varying way), and there is no cross-over of visibility between the address
spaces.

 

The DLEP spec itself discusses operating within a data plane "Layer 2
domain" but the term I'm looking for is more related to the control-plane
aspect of "a collection of DLEP routers and modems which can be aware of
each other both at layer-2 and layer-3". Is calling this a "DLEP domain" a
reasonable and non-colliding use of the term?

 

The overall idea being that some DLEP router is a participant in several
DLEP domains, each operating separately from each other so the modems don't
have cross-domain visibility but the router is aware of all of them
together.
