Does retransmission timeout on a single transaction imply loss of control association?

Suppose an MG is configured to retransmit messages for up to 30 seconds,
and suppose retransmissions of a particular transaction reach 30 seconds
without a reply to that transaction.

Is this alone a reason for the MG to declare loss of control association
and generate a new SC to the same or another MGC?

What if the MG has received replies to other transactions within those
30 seconds?

What if the MG has not received replies to other transactions, but it
has received requests from the MGC within those 30 seconds?

In either of the previous two cases, the MG knows the MGC is alive; it
just didn't reply to one or more transactions. Should the MG generate
SC?

If the answer is that the MG should generate SC, and it is to the same
MGC with method Disconnected, should the MG reject, with error 505,
requests that the MGC continues to send until the MGC replies to SC?
