Creaking sound on MGWs

Hi, What causes a creaking sound on MGW? or is it really on MGW? One of our mobile subscriber experienced is that, they can hear like someone is typing over the network during an actual phone conversation. by the ways, our mobile core network already runs via IP but still TDM on the access side.
