Detection of events make signals stop automatically.  The MG should halt
dial tone upon detection of the start timer.
 
Note that the MG won't play ringback unless instructed to do so by the MGC.

We are facing an issue, where GW continues to play dial tone even after
terminating end starts ringing. (We expect ringback tone to be applied to
originating line here).

 

Timeout has been sent in response to gateway controller request. My question
here is,

 

Should the GW has to play ringback tone or it should get instructed by the
gateway controller to apply ringback tone to originating end ?

 

Also there is a delay in establishing two way speech path when terminating
end goes offhook (Approx 25 secs). For a certain amount of time terminating
end hears originating end (One way speech path initially, later (after ~25
sec delay) two way speech path.

This issue is particular to an automatic call originating functionality.
Also extended DTMF package has been used in this scenario (XDD/XCE) whereas
the same scenario is successful with (dd/ce) package. 

 

Please share your thoughts on this issue.
