StreamMode & Statistics

Christian, et al.,
 
we were looking again at some info how a specific StreamMode setting is
related to the local generation of Statistics.
 
E.g. 
StreamMode = Inactive
Statistic = "... octets/packets received"
 
I'm fairly sure that this item was already raised and discussed in the
past.
Do you know?
 
E.g., the Inactive semantic (" 

Inactive:       The termination does not pass any media for the stream.

")
is not explicit on the 'receive' part, just on the forwarding part.
