Is UPnP, or any other > protocol for querying the WAN address of the NAT box, used in ICE? UPnp can be used with ICE, yes. ICE's philosophy is, "the more the merrier" in terms of addresses. The only requirement is that there is always at least one guaranteed-to-work address, generally obtained through turn. Beyond that, a client can obtain addresses from stun, turn, upnp, midcom, rsip, etc., and ice will dynamically figure out the one that is best to use. -Jonathan R. -- Jonathan D.
