MTU Issues

The other reason why the original MTU was so small was that = a LOT of data paths were so noisy that a short MTU was the only thing = that had a reasonable chance of working. About the only niosy path these days is satellite and from what I have = seen when an IT guy I knew downloaded Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, they = have that problem licked too.
