Why wouldn't the same principles that had us move MSDP to MBONED also move the MIB to MBONED ? Eg: A MIB by itself even for any other protocol might already have a slight tendency on it's own to be reviewed by MBONED (because in MAGMA/PIM you may not be too much concerned about operational issues), the MIB of a protocol itself is all about operational issues.
