I agree with Tony about what should happen, but I would express it differently. I think the exploder/relay should decide whether tracking occurs beyond it (probably applying Tony's algorithm). At the very least this is necessary for reasons of the privacy of the subsequent recipients. So there needs to be an architectural mechanism for tracking beyond an exploder/relay, but unless something actively permits it then it should not be visible. Stuart
