I agree.

Would we make allowing the presence of :last dependent on :seconds (much 
like :index) ?

Alternatives I can think of:

:refresh, :update, :renew - with the semantic interpretation that the 
entry in the tracking list is being updated/refreshed/renewed.

Anyone else suggestions?
