i agree with Magnus :-D

there is no conceptual change to the way the NSLP invokes GIST at
all, nor is there any need for any practical change (that i can 
detect). this is just a GIST message formatting issue - the 
functionality is the same as what it always was (at least, what
it was supposed to have been).
