I've been sending unobtrusively signed mails for several weeks now, in
what i think is an alignment with this spec, and i've heard no
complaints from anyone. Probably most people can't verify my signatures
on them because most MUAs don't read those sigs, but hey most people
don't verify signatures anyway 😛 The nice thing about unobtrusive
signatures is that you can just make them unilaterally, without having
to make a decision, on any outbound e-mail message that otherwise would
have been an unsigned, cleartext mail.

I'm inclined to raise this draft on the SECDISPATCH list, and ask for a
slot to talk about it in the upcoming IETF 123.

In that slot, i can mention that there's been discussion about
potentially handling it here in the OpenPGP WG, but it would give other
people a heads-up about the work, and also present an opportunity for
other WGs to weigh in on whether they think it fits better with their
work.
