If the Third Party Confirmation Signatures match better, then we should 
use those.

Since OpenPGP's genuine use case is communication, I think the draft 
needs to cover that case. You are right that the draft should then 
mention this use case explicitly early in the text.

I agree that the goal should not be to say very concretely how to 
display them, but rather underline that the security properties are 
different from asymmetric signatures and that this needs to be accounted 
for in the UI in order not to convey false information about the 
security properties of a message to the user.
