Hey OpenPGP Working Group--

Stephen and I were thinking about what sort of specifications the
working group is interested in pursuing, beyond what is currently
adopted. This is a call to encourage discussion about those next steps,
beyond what the WG has currently adopted.

We already have one document in the stages of being considered for
adoption:

PQ/T Composite Schemes for OpenPGP using
NIST and Brainpool Elliptic Curve Domain Parameters

  https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ehlen-openpgp-nist-bp-comp/

Please speak up on the relevant mailing list thread if you haven't
already, whether you support the WG adopting this work, or if you have
concerns about it.

But there are a number of other OpenPGP-related internet drafts active
in the datatracker that are not currently explicitly up for adoption.

Our working group charter covers a lot of OpenPGP ground:

  https://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/openpgp/about/

And the list of active documents with "openpgp" in the title contains
many options:

  https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/search?name=openpgp&sort=&activedrafts=on&by=group&group=

There are also some that are recently expired that might be relevant
enough to process.

And you (yes you!) might also have some OpenPGP-related work kicking
around that you'd like the WG to weight in on, or particular problems
that you think the working group needs to solve.

Please respond to this thread to point out work that you think might be
worth adopting, or to describe a specific need in the OpenPGP space,
even if there is no draft already crafted.

And if you think that the WG should *not* work on specific
OpenPGP-related topics, that would be good to hear too.

Regards,

     --dkg
