Gorry Fairhurst has entered the following ballot position for draft-ietf-openpgp-pqc-14: No Objection When responding, please keep the subject line intact and reply to all email addresses included in the To and CC lines. (Feel free to cut this introductory paragraph, however.) Please refer to https://www.ietf.org/about/groups/iesg/statements/handling-ballot-positions/ for more information about how to handle DISCUSS and COMMENT positions. The document, along with other ballot positions, can be found here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-openpgp-pqc/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMENT: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for preparing this document. Please could you look at the following comments and resolve in the next revision: 1) Please reword "we..." in 2 places, because the IETF is the publisher: "We refer to Section 10.1..." to something like: "Please see Section 10.1..." "In this section we define the encryption..." to something like "This sectio defines the encryption..." 2) This text seems like it has too many "to"s for easy reading: ...MAY by default encrypt to both to avoid disruption to communications... 3) I feel slightly uncomfortable reading, could this be reworded?: "This means that all component signatures must be verified successfully in order to achieve" - Using "in order" within a sentence can result in ambiguity about whether this implies ordered processing of the signatures. _______________________________________________ openpgp mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
