[openpgp] Re: openpgp wg interim - Jan 26 or Jan 27

Happy New Year everyone.

I will be attending the interim. Both dates work for me.

Concerning draft-ietf-openpgp-nist-bp-comp:

A) I implemented that spec in sequoia-openpgp on top of their existing 
pqc branch and verified the test vectors from the draft that Falko and 
Johannes generated with their implementation in RNP/Botan. The 
fork/branch of sequoia-openpgp is here 
: https://gitlab.com/fluppe2/sequoia/-/tree/pqc-nist-bp.

Details: In the directory openpgp/tests/data/pqc-nist-data there is a 
README and the test vectors from the draft. The corresponding Rust test 
file for the cryptographic verification of the test vectors is 
openpgp/tests/pqc-nist-bp-ietf.rs. The README lists the command required 
to run the test.

I haven't opened a merge request upstream yet because I wanted to 
discuss this with the Sequoia maintainers first.

B) We applied all editorial changes (where relevant) from the IESG 
review of its parent draft-ietf-openpgp-pqc and 
published https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-openpgp-nist-bp-comp/03/ 
(see 
https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/openpgp/fLvw-85ff28fMAbYnUSjCYhY4yE/).

Summary: We think that draft-ietf-openpgp-nist-bp-comp is ready for WGLC.

What we could discuss on the list or during the interim:

- How to proceed with bringing the ML + NIST/BP composites to the 
interop test suite. Before, during, after (potential) WGLC?
- When to assign algorithm IDs to the ML + NIST/BP composites from the 
non-private/experimental range (for now we assigned 100-107 to generate 
test vectors)? Before, during, after (potential) WGLC?
