Ok folks,

	It is obvious that the operations area can not reach consensus on an operator driven request.  Continued dDOS on this list, and on the respondents time, so I suggest we put this conversation to bed.  If we can assemble the data in time (based on the agreement from Friday afternoon), we will bring it back up.  Else, the authors, and others, will (I assume) pursue one or more other courses of action.

	I would like to thank those that had reasoned arguments, and responded civilly, and actually listened to the operational issues being raised - even if we didn't agree, those were reasonable discussions, and appreciated.  Most, if not all, of those inputs will be incorporated into whatever is done next.

	To those of you who sniped, made assumptions about underlying motivations, and the authors' desire (or not) to get this v6 pig in the air in a v4 exhausted world, etc. your comments were at least entertaining (mostly).  How much they actually contributed to the body of the conversation, other than to raise the temperature, I'm not sure, nor do I really care.

	I would leave this conversation with one final observation.  The operators are at fault here, but guess what, so are the rest of us.  We spent WAY too much time discussing the PERFECT transition mechanism, rather than a suite of WORKABLE transition mechanisms to deal with runout (which is different than a clean dual-stack world).  I believe we now have them, but they are new, and will get to the market (in the form of code, CPE, etc) too late to make this a clean transition.  There will be consequences, and it will be ugly until we can get to a clean transition state.   

	Operators didn't push for transition CPE because of tactical requirements, vendors didn't develop or ship for the same reason, and the CE vendors don't see anything to plug into.  We will now all live with the consequences for a while.  It's just going to be a choice as to which consequences you choose (or are chosen for you).
