We're expecting to provide a Solaris port around December, around the same
time as the final NT drop.

One reason for using MKS was to keep us "honest", and to make the porting
task easier.

I hope you're not expecting to make much use of the initial release.  This
is only an initial snapshot, and is severely limited in what it can do
(I've got into the habit of referring to this initial drop as more of a
code escape than a code release).  We do expect to make a series of
codedrops between now and the final release, so useful functionality should
start to appear before December, but what's (almost) on the website now is
for people who want to take a look at the sources, as opposed to actually
using the code.
