how to build jonah without MKS

Hi,I am using MKS free demo to build Jonah
but I hope one day I can kick MKS out of my machine.
so I have some questions,
first,why jonah use MKS,what special functions of MKS were used?
beause many big freeware don't use it and work well.
second,anyone here have good understanding of the jonah source code,
and can give us some suggestions to set up build batch and make files?

I don't think MKS has done much in building process.If anyone here
has built Jonah without MKS or have some knowledge about what files
 on which the targets(.dll, .lib .exe) depend, please tell me.
