Hi Timothy,
We haven't seen that problem here, and I couldn't find that literal error
message in the places I expected to.
1) What snapshot you're using? (when you picked it up)
2) Is that the literal error message? If not, exactly what error message do
you see?
3) Try a certificate request without selecting a key usage (not like that
should make a difference, but I'm sure we tested a vanilla cert req for
each drop)
4) Make sure you haven't taken anything out of the RA's .ini file that you
shouldn't have (maybe copy it out again, changing only what you have to to
get it to run).

Hello,

I have successfully built and installed the Certificate Authority,
Registration Authority, and End Entity on a single computer.

I initialized the object stores and tokens for each using the scinit
commands.

>From the Registration Authority, I did a preregistration for a user.

>From the End Entity, I created a Certificate Request and submitted that
to the RA.

At the RA, the Certificate Request did properly appear in the pending
certificate list on the left.
When I attempted to validate or approve the Certificate Request at the
RA, I got an error that said "No Signature Algorithm Specified".

I am puzzled by this error. When I created the request, I selected
id-dsa as the algorithm for the certicate. I also specified the
certificate to have a key usage of "Digital Signature".

Can anyone help me out here?
I've tried this several times, always with the same result (error of "no
signature algorithm specified)

Thanks,
Timothy Fisher
