Hi
We changed our file name to draft-jinchoi-l2trigger-fastrd-01.txt
(from draft-jinchoi-l2-frd-01.txt) at editor's request. Details are like below.
Title : Fast Router Discovery with AP Notification
Author(s) : J. Choi, D. Shin
Filename : draft-jinchoi-l2trigger-fastrd-01.txt
Pages : 5
Date : 19-Jun-02
URL: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-jinchoi-l2trigger-fastrd-01.txt
Our draft deals with 'How can a mobile node find its new access router
sufficiently fast?' In our proposal AP caches Router Advertisement message
and sends it to a new mobile node as soon as L2 association is made.
We present a way for AP to cache necessary RA.
In version 1, we put new chapter (Chp 5) on L2 trigger and formulated
sending the RA as a trigger like before.
L2 Event Recipient Parameters
Trigger
+-------------+---------------+------------+-----------------+
| Fast | When new L2 | MN | Router |
| Router | association | | Advertisement |
| Discovery | is made. | | |
All comments are appreciated.
Best Regards
