I like this text. And I agree with everything else you said in your 
e-mail James.

To the working group: lets not get too hung over on this reference. 
Here's the positive takeaway:

1. We have a PPPEXT-TRILL doc moving forward, as simple as possible.

2. There seems to be pretty wide consensus that we need a good 
zero-configuration mechanism for ISIS System IDs.

3. There is a clear place for discussion about such mechanisms to happen 
in: ISIS WG

4. For sure, there may be disagreements about what the right proposal 
is, but that's usual (and far better than silence and no interest).

Lets move forward with this. Bill, can you work with Stewart and the 
ISIS guys on the solutions (with the understanding that we'll probably 
need some amount of back-and-forth before we know what the right answer 
is)? I would appreciate having you (and others as well, of course) 
working on it.
