For what it's worth, I don't know what an "etoken pro smart card" might be, but the last I checked, the pppd implementation (used on Linux and many other systems) doesn't support any sort of token card with EAP. It also doesn't come with support for Microsoft's PPTP, though there are patches available that implement this feature.
