I don't think that a guarantee from Alex (or any other individual)
that "there exists for each solution a backwards compatible migration
path from intra-provider to inter-provider" is enough. The inter-AS
solution must has enough details from the very beginning to
demonstrate that there is a a backwards compatible migration path
from intra-provider to inter-provider.
