Re: Draft charter for L2VPN: Perfect LAN emulation

If the plan is still to run the L2VPN over PWE3, then you should
note the PWE3 charter does not curently require us to provide
perfect emulation:

   "PWE3 will not strive for pseudo wires to perfectly emulate the
   characteristics of the native service.  For each type of pseudo
   wire, an applicability statement will describe the degree of
   similarity of a pseudo wire to the native service it emulates."

However Mark's criteria for L2VPN seems the right benchmark:

"as long as people are comfortable that standards compliant
"Ethernet devices are able to attach to the service and use it."
