I.e. the registrar do have even in the case of a thick registrar a mirror of the registry database. To be able to keep these two in sync it is very very very important for a registrar to know: - What operations can make the registry side change - How is that detected - How to do the sync so the two versions end up the same again The ROID is very important for this.
