Dear WG, as a co-author I obviously say ADOPT. Many years ago great work has been done by the PALS and PWE3 working group in defining TDM pseudo wires (RFC4553, RFC4842, …). This draft is addressing new emulation requirements that have come up as network operators are (again) trying to consolidate network resources and optimise how services are delivered in leveraging the massive advances in silicon technology that make IP/MPLS the most scalable and efficient electrical “switching” technology right now. regards Christian On 24.05.2023, at 05:37, Stewart Bryant <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: This email announces the start of a two week WG adoption call for draft-schmutzer-pals-ple The draft can be found at: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-schmutzer-pals-ple/ Please reply to this thread by saying ADOPT Or Do NOT ADOPT It would be helpful to the chairs if reasons for your opinion were provided. This poll will close Monday 12th June Best regards Stewart _______________________________________________ Pals mailing list [email protected] https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/pals
