Due to the volume of spam being generated by the latest
Sobig.F worm, it is no longer possible for me to review
messages sent to the RDDP mailing list by non-subscribers
in a timely fashion. Normally, I review messages from
non-subscribers more or less as they come in and approve
ones that are not spam. This will now take place at most
once a day. If you are subscribed to the list, you are
not affected by this - your messages will continue to go
through immediately and automatically.
If you are not a list subscriber and send email to the list,
it'll probably take until sometime the next day (or over
the weekend until Monday) for your post to be examined and
approved. I apologize for this delay, but there haven't been
many recent posts that would have been hit by this restriction.
Anyone who wants to post to the rddp list really should
subscribe.
Also, if anyone knows how to get through to Road Runner,
the current bombardment of spam to the RDDP list is coming
from one Road Runner host:
