Is there a reason that these multiple stakeholders can't come to the 
IETF and

   So is the IETF!

   If these multiple stakeholders are not currently participating in the 
IETF
standards process, I question why there is a need to create this group to
command the deployment of standards that they had no role in creating. 
If they
are currently participating then why can't they continue doing the work 
here?
The IETF is already a multi-stakeholder forum. Either way, this seems 
like an
unfortunate development and I think it would be best to wind this down 
before
it gets going.
