In my view, the main i= ssues with the currently standardized (and planned) PQC algorithms are thei= r sizes, as well as the lack of support for NIKE. I hope that the NCCG competition will evaluate and potentially standardise = algorithms more suitable for very constrained radio, such as DAWN and CSIDH= . This would make the competition globally relevant, not only for academics= submitting algorithms, but also for the IETF and real-world protocol deplo= yments.
